Inspired By Design all started when masks became mandatory to wear in public during our National Lockdown due to COVID-19. We started making masks for ourselves and after a few trial and error exercises, we finally managed to design a pattern that fits comfortably on your face. We then took to local market and sold a few masks. This all sparked my enthusiasm and I wanted to do more, to become more creative.

At first, I did not know how to operate a sewing machine and after my mom showed me how, I realised that it's actually easy. Seeing the end product, created with my own hands, is super rewarding. I said to myself that I'll learn as we go along.

All the sewing really inspired me to become more creative and to expand my catalogue and offer more than just masks. We now make scatter cushion covers, table cloths for all size tables, runners, serviettes, kids and baby bedding as well as dog cushions/beds.
